Private operational build

Tastey

A speaker logging and automatic camera switching tool built for live parliamentary sittings, amongst other things.

The problem

Why it exists

Tastey started as a better way to log speakers, minute parliamentary sittings and take notes without relying on a fragile spreadsheet. It has since grown into a production tool as well — moving PTZ cameras to the right presets, switching shots in OBS, splitting up the audio, sending it for speech-to-text, and starting and stopping the live audio and video streams, all from a few keystrokes. What used to involve several separate jobs can now be handled from one app.
